I'm in Canada. Where can I purchase lab supplies for Experience Biology (Level C)?

Home Science Tools may not ship dissection specimens to Canada. You may use the a la carte option to purchase everything else needed for your lab. However, you will need to source dissection specimens from a lab supply company in Canada. We will update our lab supplies page with more resources for you as they become available!

We included a LOT of labs for a high school biology course, knowing that most students wouldn't complete all of the labs, but wanting to have plenty of options for families. There are not any labs, other than the first two which help lay a foundation in scientific investigation and lab report writing, that are specifically more important than others.

One thing to note, if there are specific slides that are quite expensive or difficult to find, we do have images of what your student would have seen had they had the slides. So your student can always use the images provided instead.

With the dissections, if you're not able to find the specimen or they're too costly, have your student watch the lab videos. Those lab videos are very detailed and we walk the student through the entire dissection step by step. So while they won't have had the specimen in front of them, they will still be able to see a lot and learn from the video.
