Are there any math requirements for your courses?

For Chemistry and Physics, your student should have completed an algebra course before taking this chemistry course. These are rigorous math-based, honors-level courses.

While Physical Science Explored does not have a lot of math involved, as an integrated chemistry and physics course it does have some. Students should have a good understanding of basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and fractions. Some pre-algebra skills would also be helpful.

Our other science courses have no math prerequisites for our courses and there is not much math involved in any of the classes. If there is any math to be done, it can easily be completed on a calculator.
