Can Experience Astronomy be counted as a lab science?
We designed the outdoor observations that are part of the base program and other hands-on projects we incorporate into the Level C program to be enough to count Astronomy C as a high school lab science. HSLDA recommends that lab sciences take about 180 hours, with 30+ of those hours coming from the lab portion. We took this into account when designing the course. Many families count our astronomy course as a lab science. So unless your state has specific rules for what you can count, then it should work just fine.
