Are Upper Level Experience Astronomy and Astronomy PLUS self-paced?

To an extent, our Upper-level Experience Astronomy courses are self-paced. However, the course follows what’s going on in the sky so the first lesson is available for all students starting at the beginning of September (each year this date changes slightly depending on the sky). A new lesson opens up each week through the end of May for a total of 35 weekly lessons. There is a 3-week break around Christmas. 

Students can watch the recorded videos as they open up but are not able to get ahead due to the nature of the course following the sky in real-time.
