JHA is pleased to announce our Co-op Licensing Program, where we provide everything you need to facilitate a classroom full of homeschooled students with our research-backed curriculum. In the context of homeschool co-ops, we provide:
- Robust facilitator’s guide for pacing the curriculum over the course of one year. We provide a course schedule, specific recommendations for what to actually do in each class session, how long to anticipate each exploration activity will take, and recommended take-home assignments for your students.
- Videos you can use in-class, so you don’t have to be the “fount of all knowledge” for your students. Our instructional videos allow you to learn alongside your students as a facilitator and learning peer. Want to watch the videos before class and simply replicate our teaching methods yourself? That’s great! It’s 100% your choice.
- Student Portal (Levels B+C only) to help students who have to miss an in-class session, so they can watch the same lecture material and keep up with the course. That means empowering students while giving instructors a break from mitigating student absences!
- Simple Assessments: Instructors can grade assignments quickly with the helpful answer keys we provide
We offer co-op pricing for most of our courses for groups of 4 or more who have designated a single instructor/facilitator. Co-op courses are designed for groups that are meeting at least weekly.
Our upper level co-op courses do not include auto-graded quizzes. Co-op facilitators are responsible for assigning and grading student’s work. Because of the way our group programs are set up, we are not able to communicate with individual parents of students within co-ops.
